Is there any particular order in which the Discworld series should be read, or does it not matter?

I'm reading The Color of Magic and wondered what to read next. It just happened to be the one Pratchett novel they had at Half Price Books that day...

Wifey found a map to the discworld novels on the Intarweb. Unfortunately, she's in the tub at the moment, and I can't ask her where she found the map. I myself am too lazy to look for it. Try some search like "diskworld map" or "diskworld reading guide" on Google. (I am given to understand that there's no geographical map of diskworld, as the author deems it unnecessary.

Glad you asked that. I've got one of Pratchett's books around the Rabbit Hole that I seem to have mislaid prior to reading.

I'd prefer to find a beginning point before getting too far along, rather that randomly skipping through them one of these days.

Perhaps LD or some other expert will chime in.

Regards,
Rabbit.

I just found your blog by chance and I want to say it looks really good and I'll come back to read it more :) Also, The Color of Magic is directly followed by The Light Fantastic, after that it's a bit more open.
