Husband doesn't understand--he's just not wired the way I am. I'm a night owl, and I only feel like doing anything starting at about midnight. He likes to spring out of bed ready to tackle the day first thing in the morning. I think that is an extremely strange urge. I'm fine with a schedule that allows me to get up at the crack of noon daily. Best time for working, creating and thinking is always the night. Thus I never vacuum. On the other hand, it makes me really cranky when he vacuums in the mornings. Sheesh.

Yeah, why not? When inspiration strikes, answer the call.

I totally understand! I also get frantic bursts of energy at midnight. Then I get upset cause the Husband won't help. :)

Truly! That's why I don't vacuum when I would normally - don't wanna wake him up - he is Daddy Warbucks, after all. I always get the soundest sleep after first light and after the alarm goes off. Then I could sleep all damned day!

I'm the same kinda guy as your hubby - first thing in the morning, I'm wide awake and ready to go!

Hmm, must be a testosterone thing. Well, I'm glad you men are around to hold down the fort while me and Ariel get our beauty sleep!

OK. Now I WON'T be sleeping because we are getting the first measurable rainfall in months - my favorite. I love the rain. I'll sit and watch the drops hammering the surface of my swimming pool. Beautiful.

Yea, I hear ya on the sleep thing. My husband says we don't need my salary. Why don't I quit I keep asking myself I loathe getting up around six and being at work by 7:45. truthfully, I'm usually a little late. Guess I like the independence my paltry salary affords.

Its been year since I got beauty sleep. Over 2, in fact. I get so excited when the young one goes to bed because she always wants to "help". And by the time she's really old enough to help, she'll have figured out it isn't any fun.

I dunno, Lindy, I heartily recommend letting it go, or at least finding a different job.

no beauty sleep is part of motherhood, innit ariel? At least you get a sweet little darling out of the deal.

WOOHOO, nuggetmaven!
