The lovely Lin directed me to Exile in Portales' blog to see this video.

Suffice to say it warmed the cockroaches of my black little heart. Rock on, Jim Brossard!

Thanks for the link, Phlegmmy. (Am I being presumptuous, addressing you thusly?)

I applaud his intent but question his handling of our flag. Maybe in his anger he forgot that the flag is not to touch the ground and should not be wadded up like a dish rag.

Thought you'd like that one. I cut the vet some slack on handling the US flag because he was obviously extremely PO'd and completely outraged at the time. I don't doubt he treated it with more than due respect once he cooled down. I think the flag would, if it could, gratefully forgive him, too, under those circumstances.

I agree with lin.

myron - I can understand that, but I'd rather see it wadded up in the hands of someone who loves it than to see it flying under a Mexican flag.

lin - Good point.

bob - me too.

Very good. Mexican nationalism belongs in Mexico. Don't come here and disrespect the US flag without expecting consequences. The asshats got off lightly, though I did feel a sense of satisfaction seeing their flag chucked onto the ground.
