Yup. Still cool.

Here's a link to Nouvelle Vague's site. Be sure to click on French or Engrish.

Funky. Somebody else I've never heard of. Very educational, this place, on many levels.

fathairybastard - yes, you must!

tickersoid - Nouvelle Vague has done bossa nova re-imaginings of lots of punk classics. You'll love them.

That does have a cool groove. Now I am doubly curious to hear their version of Teenage Kicks which you mentioned.

*girl* So glad you like it. I always like EATB, thought Ian Mccullough was marvelous. It's nice to hear the bossa nova re-imaginings of these punk classics. It feels less bittersweet than listening to some of the originals, I find.
