You know that big welding gas supplier that 'sploded in Dallas on Tuesday? Well, I've got ash all over my property from that. It's not Mt. St Helens or anything, but it's ashy. Kinda strange. And we're at least a couple miles away.

The property is on the market (anyone have spare millions in the double-digits?) [whining text deleted}

If only it will sell and soon.
I'm not superstitious, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed, just in case.

The truth is everyone has moments where they hate what they are doing, right? And if it were just a barrel of laughs, then they wouldn't have to pay people to do it, right? I'm actually very lucky, so sorry about the whining, to anyone unfortunate enough to have seen it.

What better way to wash away the bitter tang of careericide than a couple hedgehogs and a very minky-looking cat?

You WILL be a success!
There, that oughta do it!

And, SQUEEEEEEE! HEDGEHOGS!!
Sorry, but I love hedgehogs, they're so cute!
As a protected species in Germany, I got the opportunity to raise a hedgehog one winter.
One of my teachers had found the mom with a full litter in his garden right at the end of autumn, and the babies didn't weigh enough to hibernate and survive, so he farmed them out to willing students.
Somehow he forgot to tell me that they were nocturnal, and the little devil that I named "Kruemel" ("Crumb", for the very messy way he ate!) spent all night patrolling my room.
He grew very, very huge, and finally I let him hibernate and got some peace. The other students and I let the 'hogs go in the spring.
Did you know that when hedghogs feel threatened, besides the obvious of rolling themselves into prickly balls, hiss menacingly like cats?
Anywho, that's it from Christina's Animal Planet!

lainy - It'll be good. I'm fine. Thanks!

christina - ah, the formerly-full-of-people has spoken. May it be ever thus and long may she wave, etc.
Wow - I didn't know you lived in Germany! Du bist wie eine blume, baby! Hedgehogs are the cutest - I want one someday. I've heard about them "popping" at night.

schnoobie - They ARE cute, aren't they? And they fold themselves up in a little ball to sleep all day. ADORABLE!!!
I'll be fine - it's all going to be ok.
