My Dream Car

When your car is already a pestilent congregation of poo, why not turn the seat, steering column and other stuff around, give it all-wheel steering, and have some real fun? I always knew Poland couldn't be all bad. It looks like a wonky English shopping trolley sometimes. On corners, it reminds me of a wiener dog where the rear chassis is trying to come abreast of the front bits.

Watch out for the bit of film past halfway through where there are two drivers - one facing the front of the car, and one facing rear, operating the different sets of tires independently. The baffled pedestrians are a hoot.

I laughed and laughed and laughed. Dad, you're gonna love this one.

OK. I know I've posted YouTube several times recently, but just the ones I really like. It's not a problem. It's under control. I only do it on evenings, weekends, weekdays and the other times I'm awake. I can quit any time.

I'd love to try that!

Maybe get the THP chasing me or something! What the hell, I already have a speeding and a running a stop sign on my record this year!

Ohmigawd, I haven't seen dog-tracking like that since Brou sat in the prickly pear cactus patch! Bet he gets better miles per gallon than miles on those screeching tires - the guy isn't any budding automotive engineer. But it sure was fun to watch. Thanks!

I'm married to a Pole. I always knew they were insane.

That's brilliant!

What a hoot. That thing would be a blast in Houston rush hour traffic. Oh, wait. I'm retired and don't get among 'em during rush hour any more.

mushy - I'll dig up a favorite old commercial of mine for you.

lin - poor Brou! Yeah, it looked a little amateurish - they won't be recruiting him for West Coast Customs anytime soon, but I got a good giggle out of it.

barbara - yeah, Poles rock! They marry the coolest chicks.

myron - yeah, actually, being retired might make it even more fun to clown up someone else's rush hour, but it probably wouldn't be street legal in Texas.

LOL that's great, hilarious!! I remember a loooong time ago years BC (before college) Car and Driver took an old '60 Impala the kind with fins and a rocket on the side), and flipped the body around for a cover shot of it crossing the Golden Gate Bridge - it was scary looking coming at you like that!
