Glad to hear the good news. Hope Chuy feels better real soon!
Oh, Miss Phlegm, I'm so glad he'll be okay! What a sweet widdle--oops, I mean, tough, strong, brave boy. :DI say he needs some bacon when he gets home. Bacon soothes a wounded soul--and leg.
*squeeeeeeeeeeee*!So happy to hear he pulled through. This is excellent news all around.
Glad to here the little fellow is going to be ok!
Sweet lady, even if you can't get all the rattlers out of the area, take comfort in the fact that pups are pretty resilient. We had a cocker spaniel that was bitten several times throughout her long life, always killed the snake, and died old and happy.I'm so happy that everything is going to be ok, too!
His eyes are heart breaking. Both of you need to spend the weekend being extremely lazy and selfish with naps. I've heard of a few anti-snake recommendations:Moth balls scattered around the yard and under the house. Sulphur done the same way.Charged fencePigs (They will eat a snake.)CatsPolished stone eggs.(They can't digest the eggs after they swallow)Rat traps. FerretsMongoosesKing SnakesDiesel sprayed on the fence rowI guess they all work in certain applications, but none are as guaranteed as a garden shovel.Give Chuy an extra big hug for me. He deserves it. And you have a wonderful weekend.
Poor little Chuy!Glad to see he's on the mend!
Such a relief! I'm so happy for you and Chuy. Please give him an extra cuddle for me. If I could help slaughter snakes for you, I would.
Glad he's on the mend! How many rattles? I've herd tell that little rattlers are worse than big ones because they just let loose with all they got.
I think you should get a mongoose. I always wanted a mongoose.
Might be time to start feeding a couple of big-assed wander-up yard cats.
Glad to hear Chuy is gonna be okay!
Oh the poor puppeh!!!! Give him the kisses for me!!!! Sooo glad to hear he's doing better!!
