things taking shape...

I'm SO excited.

My trapezoid Beetlejuice bookcase just came out of storage. It's in the second bedroom which is pretty much office/storage/catchall room, but at last it's here and I've a proper place to put books and music and tchochkes.

*Squeeeeeee!*

Thanks to Himself and Tolewyn for bringing from my storage space.

*more squeeeeeing*

Wow! We have considered getting something like that but don't have the room (need every inch of wall space for current books)

Cool bookcase! We have a torn up kitchen and are eating out of a microwave awaiting the granite-guy who has our slab of some stuff called Volga Blue - it has flakes of iridescent blue mica on a green-black field.

That bookcase is made of WANT.

Did you make it or buy it?

That looks like something out of The Dreams In The Witch House. Do want.

Mrs. Widget - Is rilly cool, yes?

DirtCrashr - Thanks! You do great reno work. Love that granite - reminds me of Labradorite - exquisite!

BGMiller - Bought it about 1990 from an artist in Dallas who was moving to San Francisco and didn't have room for it in his wee Toyota pickup. If you want to see more about it, search my blog for bookcase and a post with the story will be among those which pop up. Is a one of a kind, definitely, and he was inspired by the wonky fireplace in the film Beetlejuice.

bluntobject - cool association. Glad you like it. :)
