When left to its own devices...

This is what 43 looks like.

These pictures of Julia Ormond were linked in an email I received in some months back which fairly shrieked of the horrors of a woman who won't do the right thing and have a surgeon tidy this mess up. Can the author be for real?

Why is this so terrible? She looks like a woman. She looks like herself, and frankly, I think she's never been lovelier.

Coco Chanel said you have the face you were given when you are 20, but you earn the face you have at 50.

I think Julia has had a life. Good for her, pretty lady.

Why, oh why, do we continue to persist in changing what God gave us? Leave it alone. She looks good.

I think she's gorgeous. And you know how she got that face? By laughing a lot and enjoying life, as evidenced by the 2nd photo. We should all be so lucky.

Yeah, if she's through playing young roles in movies and on TV, then leave it alone. Move on to granny roles...there has to be a niche there too!

I always thought of Julia as being bland and insipid. Now she has character which leads to great beauty-and she'll never get another lead movie roll.

She looks great...however her shoulders and arms look a bit younger than her face.

We were out and about the other day and saw a horrible stunningly bad cat-woman like with tiger-lips botched example of "tidying up" - that's why I fear Obamacare, it will be run by people like that with those opinions...

She's hot as hell just as she is.

Looks like she's lived 43 years.
Looks like she had a damned good time doing it.

Every line on her face is from smiling and laughing, nothing wrong with that!
That being said, there's also nothing wrong with staying out of the sun or using sunblock to avoid sun damage to the skin.

OMIGOD! I think she's gorgeous! Personally, I don't like woman who wear tons of makeup. I prefer if women didn't wear makeup at all, although a splash of lipstick is nice. I don't care much for plastering ones face with mask and then drawing over that to change one's appearance. It just seem so phony. I like a girl with wholesome natural looks.

She has grace, and you don't get that from a plastic surgeon.

Granny roles? Geez, she looks wonderful!

I've earned every little wrinkle I have, from laughing and living. SPF 30 Sunblock for the last 25 years has kept probably 15 years off my face, but even if it hadn't I wouldn't let anyone near it with a knife.

An absolutely BEAUTIFUL woman, puts those plastic, characterless hollywood women to shame. This is strength, brains and self confidence. Up yours Hollywood!! This woman marches to the sound of her own drum and she should be applauded for it and held up as a paragon of beauty and grace. When you are this pretty who needs botox, fillers and surgery. stunning, don't touch her face, don't change a thing.

An absolutely gorgeous woman. I'd buy a ticket to see a film with her, frankly, and I don't shell out cash for films in cinema often these days. Thank you for your comment.
