Seems like about a week ago that you couldn't open a site without seeing a photo of Obama not pledging allegiance to the flag while Hilary and someone else had their hands on their hearts --- I have googled this and can't find the image anywhere - I find this odd? Has it been purged from existence? I tend to think I'm fair at ferreting out things on the net I'm looking for, but this one eludes me. Can someone direct me to it, or did I only imagine that happened? Thanks!

Here you go. The original story said that they were singing the anthem, not reciting the pledge.

And um......
During a rendition of the national anthem when the flag is displayed, all present except those in uniform should stand at attention facing the flag with the right hand over the heart. Men not in uniform should remove their headdress with their right hand and hold it at the left shoulder, the hand being over the heart. -- United States Code, Title 36, Chapter 10, Sec. 171
