ZOMG! Lookie here:

...at John Fluevog's car. Jaguar MK 10, re-imagined by my favorite shoe mogul. I'm loving the retro colors and graphic novel proportions. Chopping the top was a good idea, in this case. Who would you rather trust with your feet than the man who drives this down the street? Sweet!Add Image

Also, he has these new limited edition silver shoes (yeah, made for men, but I'm flexible) which are calling out to my inner pimp. Am seriously slobbering, here. Actually, ANY shoe with this high-sheen silver finish leather would get my motor running. That's just the kind of hairpin I am.

Do they come with steel-toe saftey tips?

I'd need them for work...

One could kill a cornered cockroach with those things.

Ranger Tom - I'd love to see those shoes working on the railroad!

Hammer - Lucky cockroach to be thus dispatched!

Uh....how to you clean them? Do I use ArmorAll or Chrome Polish?

Dunno about the shoes but the car certainly made ME salivate. One wonders about the running gear, tho (in the car). I thought an engine bay shot was de rigeur for carporn. It IS, innit?

OTOH, this is a Jag we're talking about... prolly too much oil and stuff in the engine bay for an acceptable shot at any given point in time... assuming OEM, of course.

DUH! I just clicked-through on the link to the car.
SLICK!
Like the "Cadzilla" treatment of a Jag sedan....very smooooth!

The Mark 10 and it's name change, the 420 G was the biggest and most luxurious Jag ever built. I had a 420G and it was the same size as a 2001 Caddy Sedan. Power seats, steering, brakes, and windows and air conditioned. And it drove better at a hundred than at 60. They were a very clean car if you did some maintenance. And we are talking about a car that was last made in 1970. Now if you could get the shoes in a color to match your car, that would really be neat.

Too shiny for work out in the vineyard I'm afraid.

Heh - make sure to wear them with pants. They sure do reflect up.

As a long time Jag lover and owner I would say that anybody doing that to such a fine gentlemans conveyance is a scoundrel!

You know, Sgt Fathead, it's the darnedest thing, because about 14 hours ago, I loaded a post for tomorrow featuring these very shoes, which I ordered from England this morning.
