Don't blame Harry. Harry was a good wizard. And I miss him.

You shouldn't stack all of the Harry books next to your computer. Even by proxy, he'll muck up any electronics.

Oh No! The hated and despised Blue Screen Of Death!

I haven't seen that in quite some time. Good luck with it!

(And like anon, I used to keep a spare keyboard because I had the bad habbit of spilling my adult beverages on it...)

NOT good. I sympathize... while knocking on wood, crossing my fingers, holding my breath, et al. I'm a year overdue on my normal three-year technology-refresh schedule. Nuthin' like tempting fate, eh?

If you just added some software, and use Windoze, you might trying starting in Safe Mode and see if the system boots. If so, you can delete the software in add and remove programs in the control panel and see if it starts normally.

Then again, if you are used to troubleshooting, you probably have already done this. If not, it might be best to take the computer to a technician.

Good luck.

That's why I have two, which guarantees that neither will fail, since I need rely on neither exclusively.

Of course, I have to keep them is separate rooms so they don't get together and hatch an evil plan to fail at the same time. (g)
