Don't blame Harry. Harry was a good wizard. And I miss him.
You shouldn't stack all of the Harry books next to your computer. Even by proxy, he'll muck up any electronics.
OH NO! We have experienced the BLACK screen of death. You have my deepest sympathy.
MY DEEPEST SYMPATHIES darlin....I've got a backup monitor sitting on the floor behind me( cause my 2.5'X 2.5'X2.5'prehistoric gargantuan is gonna do the same one of these ...soon) good luck...schnoob
Myron - Well, it's a good blame.Stephanie - Damn his eyes...HollyB - Thanks, darlin. Black and blue - there's none good of it, is there?Schoob - sooner or later, we all get got.
Oh No! The hated and despised Blue Screen Of Death!I haven't seen that in quite some time. Good luck with it! (And like anon, I used to keep a spare keyboard because I had the bad habbit of spilling my adult beverages on it...)
NOT good. I sympathize... while knocking on wood, crossing my fingers, holding my breath, et al. I'm a year overdue on my normal three-year technology-refresh schedule. Nuthin' like tempting fate, eh?
First your phone and now your computer? WTH?
If you just added some software, and use Windoze, you might trying starting in Safe Mode and see if the system boots. If so, you can delete the software in add and remove programs in the control panel and see if it starts normally. Then again, if you are used to troubleshooting, you probably have already done this. If not, it might be best to take the computer to a technician.Good luck.
Been there, done that LAST week... At least it was my WORK laptop, not my personal one... Phone was in Nov.
Not the blue screen of death! The very words make me feel ill.
"It's not you; it's me." My evil computer karma has reached out and killed your machine.
That's why I have two, which guarantees that neither will fail, since I need rely on neither exclusively.Of course, I have to keep them is separate rooms so they don't get together and hatch an evil plan to fail at the same time. (g)
