Someone was telling me recently about "easter eggs" -- suggestive or outright lewd little nuggets embedded in the artwork of advertising. Sometimes, though, it's not what's subtle or hidden that's dazzling.
Great balls o' comfort. I swear I didn't make that up. Watch and learn.

Wow.
OMG...this is classic! Great Balls o' Comfort, who knew?
That would be Great Balls o' CUMMMMfort... Talk about your not-so-subliminal messages.
Wow. Just wow. I love the older commercials with better innuendo in them. ;-)
JR Shirley - indeedy!
Christina - Right under our noses
OrangeNeck - OMG - little slow on the up-take here - I didn't even get THAT. *blush* It's worse than I realized. Sheesh.
MiniKat - not at all subtle, was it?
To quote the inimitable Frank Z: Great googly-moogly!
Farrah WAS hawt, tho, n'est ce pas?
I had to do a debate in one of my ad classes in college about the hidden sexuality in ads, and it's all over the place. I was on the "yes it's blatant" team and had all these examples that people said they never really noticed until I pointed it out and then it was right there. I'm not necessarily easily offended, but I "won" my case!
Ted shaves with just water -- I guess he doesn't need any "great balls of comfort." :)
Isn't that 70's swept-hair nookie goddess Farrah Fawcett?
