The new phonebooks are here! The new phonebooks are here!

Yes, that's me channeling The Jerk. I've finally made the switch to cable internet. Yippee. All systems go. Cheap thrills for a crashing dullard.

Sorry the posting has been so spotty lately, but I've been a little under the weather and didn't feel like going out to post from Kinkos. Anyway, even though I'm fully dressed (the installer came by, so I HAD to be) it's nice to know I could be in my pajamas right now if I so chose.

That all-pajama weekend is coming up soon, I can just feel it. It may be the first weekend of December, but at least it's on the horizon. Yay.

Not to be a total suck-up here, but I enjoy any and all posting by you!
Just keep it coming, and I'll keep reading.
Have fun on your pajama weekend.
I enjoy those, but always have a tiny feeling of guilt...

Sucking up goes a long way at this blog, honey! Considering this would probably qualify as self-therapy, I'm flattered anyone reads at all. Thanks so much.

Yeah, I'll enjoy the pajama weekend, but I've got miles to go before that event. Oh, and I burned out my guilt chip years ago.

Must be nice, not having guilt!
I also, after major purchases, often suffer from buyer's remorse...but it never lasts long!

Welcome to the high speed lanes of the innertubes. Boy, it'd be a bitch if I had to go back to a 2400 baud modem. And then I got a 9.6 and then a 14.4 and when I got a 56K I thought I was fartin' through silk for sure.

And don't fergit pitchers of the PJ weekend LOL

Missed you; I thought I have to get another hobby. I'm really lazy, but it seems I achieve PJ weekends far more often than you - so, yay me, in some small ways! (And if blogger doesn't like this comment either, then no comment today...)

christina - It's VERY nice. It's better to regret something you've bought, than to never have bought it and regretted not buying it later. That's my philosophy.

myron - WOOOHOOO!!! I'm doing the Slim-Pickens-astride-a-warhead-style whoop, so that'll be me whizzing past you any second now. It's funny to think back how much less demanding you used to be with your equipment, isn't it?

meg - I'm happy for you if you get more of them than I do - sometimes hibernating is the only restorative thing you can do

I don't think I own a set of pajamas.
