Some exchanges are too priceless to be forever relegated to the comments section, so I trotted this one out to the blinding daylight of the main page:

True story: the Mrs. and I are leaving my nephew's apartment in the Mission district of San Francisco. Guy sitting on the sidewalk sticking a needle in his arm, says to her, "Oh, don't mind me, lady. I'm harmless."

Actually, I think I'd rather see a junkie loading up than to be squirted with San Francisco hippy breast milk, but that's just me.

Great exchange.

Have put up a link on the Neil Young post to that interview.

And yes I loved Deadwood, great scripts, fine acting, well shot etc etc.

Was really pissed when it got canned!

The milk might get you higher than the needle!

dba dude - I'll check that out. Yup, Deadwood was amazing - beautifully done. Did you know they're going to do a movie-length follow-up special? Possibly 2? Yeah, I was annoyed, too.

mully- for real - perish the thought.

g bro - OK, you just kicked it up to 11 there, and I'm not worthy!
