The new 'vogs are here!
The new 'vogs are here!
Yip yip yahoo - footgasms two days in a row. I really need to set up pay-per-view site for foot obsession, don't I? Anyway, it only took 2.5 weeks for these shoes to arrive. Fluevog is fantastic, but I think their order fulfillment department may be running on APT or some such. Oh well, better late than never.
Anyway, these are the nearly-sold-out Scarlet by John Fluevog, only mine are kind of a charcoal gray, and they have that tooled-leather look, and this heel is some kind of engineering feat.

I must be brief, as for some insane reason, I allowed myself to be talked into going to work early Thursday for an appointment. Eek.
We get an extra hour this weekend, right?

I'm not a shoe person and I'm definitely not a heels person (give me sneakers any day!), but those are some really, really cute shoes. :)
As for the shoe fetish site ... you know, if you had a good photographer and a nice site, you could probably make money with that. People are into all sorts of weird things. Get some funky socks and stockings to go with those shoes and you could make some money!

That almost caused an explosion of orange juice over the keyboard - luckily I had swallowed it before reaching that line :)
They are beautiful. I have painfully bad feet and have learned best to just live in my worn in boots and flats. The last heel I worse was probably 15 years ago.
Sign. .
They are are SOOOO pretty.
So you bought a pair? Fabulous, dahling!
Just wondering, how many shoes do you have? I do love those. A
LOVE the ribbon bows.
These look like they might actually be comfortable.
I can tolerate wearing high heeled shoes as long as the heels themselves aren't skinny, I've got flatter than flat feet, and they need support!
@ Mauser*Girl...you sound just like my daughter! She owns dressy shoes for concert band, but other than that, she lives in her sneakers.
Dorothy was always leaving her shoes laying around!
I too LOVE to look at heels; LOOK being the operative word. The last time I actually WORE a pair of 4"ers was a couple of years ago. The dearly Beloved and I just don't go that many places that require the wearing of heels.
I found the key, at my age, foot width, and condition, to being able to wear high heels is to buy them one and a half sizes too big. At least that works for me.
Those are darned cute shoes!
Those shoes are so cute, I can't stand it. I ride the bus to and from work, and I have to wear pretty stable and flat heels b/c the hills here are so steep that I'd fall if I wore those (esp. with our rainy weather). I've slipped even wearing 2.5" chunky heel boots.
Those really are excellent.
