...Freddie Mercury was born in Zanzibar. To my ear, he was one of the finest vocalists of the 20th century. I can't believe he's been gone 21 years, but I'm glad he left such a varied and exciting catalog of music behind. This is one of my favorites from Queen:

I just LOVE Freddie's voice. And have since Thud introduced me to Queen back in 1974. 'Seven Seas of Rhye' is my fave, I think, there are so many. I agree with you, it has to be one of the finest voices ever!
We lost a truly awesome voice, there.
