[omg! can this be shoulder pads? please say it isn't so? little miss linebacker]
My sister found these pictures recently.
I have no recollection of them. There must be lots of pictures of me, but I don't have any of myself with carnation pink hair, alas.
Well, actually, it was bleached out and then dyed fuschia, and that faded into a pink which I rather preferred... Anyway, too bad this is not in color. Then again, I can't imagine that the addition of color would do anything but underscore the horror of whatever nimbus was erupting from the right side of my head at that time.
*shrug*
If you're at all lively with a vivid imagination, there will be the occasional style misstep. Better to look a little misguided on occasion than to never wander afield of the flock.
I forgive myself.

Damn skippy. Although I've found that the trick to looking good most to all of the time is to be what you is, and roll with it. I've got curves and curly hair; once I stopped trying to model myself on my skinny, straight-haired sisters, I looked a lot better.
And for what it's worth, I think that hair is rockin' out. Us funky women gotta stick together.
Sorta Greta Garbo, Mae West gothic thing I'm thinking, except for the pink, which can't be seen anyway.
Lovely to say the least, even if you can't quite remember what inspired your style. It's still a 10.
It ain't the 80s unless you were rocking some pegged jeans!
You look confident and strong, not to mention lovely, in these pictures. You were always rockin' it, Babe!
What they said! This from a guy who was married in a permed fro!
You'll not see MY pix. You were beautiful then, and are now.
Well, Hell. I forgives ya, too. And thank ya for postin' the pics... you were QUITE the cutie. You woulda turned my head. Prolly still would, but I note you don't post currents. More's the pity.
LOL- Looks like you were ready to party! :-)
22 years ago?? I was sure when I stumbled upon your site that you could never have had a pic like this 22 years ago. I was figuring you were in your late twenties... (from your blogger pic)... so much for guessing correctly these days.
Wanted to thank you for the kind words you left re: our Dane pup that passed. It was very nice of you.
Also, your punch bowl 'art' and exit interview expression had me smiling.
Hope all goes well for you!
"Oh you must have been a beautiful baby. . . . "
And you still are.

Reminds me of Belinda Carlisle of the Go Gos!
Yeah, I'd hit it.
Now is hawt even moreso.
A: You were simply lovely.
B: You exactly like that lovely girl, but with different hair, and no shoulderpads.
C: I've got a very lucky friend. Two, actually.
Channeling a 'Flock of Seagulls' were we?
