When you think about the terrible burden of responsibility that goes with the office of the Presidency, don't you think someone who has held and graduated from that office should be ready for a quieter, less-public life? Other presidents have comported themselves as statesmen after retiring from the Presidency without being cloying media-whores. They enter office looking bright, optimistic and in some cases dewey-eyed. They exit office looking grayed, frayed and more than a little haggard. The physical wear-and-tear of that profession has got to be brutal. Anyway, considering what an exhausting, daily fight it must be, isn't it a little freaky that two people in the same couple would crave more of that after 8 years? I think it's incredibly un-natural, and I wonder about such a thirst for power-- it's warped.

Maybe she's hoping to get her a man in the Oval office like Bill did with Monica. You know a woman scorned will go to any lengths to pay back a cheatin' man;)

That or they both are greedy for attention.

Attention and power whores the lot of them. We should pick a president that doesn't want the job.

It used to be a common notion that if you actively sought public office, you probably shouldn't be allowed to have it. They wanted statesmen who had to be shoved into the light. That lasted about 20 years. This is the crop we reap.

Kinky said something like, "Politics, poly= more than one, tics= blood sucking parasites"
and "Politics is the only field in which the more experience you have, the worse you get." wish my president was a Jewish cowboy... A

Hammer - We had a chance with Fred Thompson. He really didn't want the job, but he thought enough of the people asking him to run to give it a shot. I thought that was quite an endearing quality.

Zelda- I agree and he'd have gotten my vote.

Bill was a flabby id-driven dumbass - the first horny Fred Flintstone of Politics. Hillary is a Level XXII Party Cadre who likes to pull the wings off flies and feed them to her pet spider...

The first celebrated Horny Fred Flintstone of (presidential) Politics, IIRC. He couldn't hold a frickin' candle to JFK, according to what I've read... in either quantity or quality, but most especially quality of the rumored kind. I think JFK was Billy Jeff's role model, and NOT in a good way.

I can't believe that people pay good money to go and hear him speak. As a Canuck, I think he is a dumb ass and so is SHE.

Of course JFK was a connoisseur of quality, while Buffalo-Bill was mainly interested in quickness and quantity...
