Photoshop gone wild?

Garsh! I think it's great that, like little parrotfish Nemo, this woman with the gimpy fin has found her place in the world and is even celebrated as a pin-up sort of person.

Seriously - GQ must have one of the most esteemed art direction staffs of all men's magazines, so why this wonky cut-up of her right leg, the mangling of which fairly jumped off the page at me? D'ya think they thought she was fat and needed to be pared down a bit before publishing? I don't get it. On the other hand, it's rather refreshing to see prison-tattoo perspectives on such a high-end publication.

I don't know what all this means, but I think I like it!

It's all eye candy for the men. She is cute in her red, white and blue. I think every male troop should have a copy! ;)

She IS adorable and sexy. What sent me 'round the bend is the digital manipulation of the image to the point that the very proportion of her limbs looks out-of-whack.

I don't think subscribers will be looking at the uneven length of her legs.

But they really could have put her in a nicer pose, that's for sure.

I don't know who she is, but I notice they have left her walking canes out of the photo I'm assuming she must use them.

I just thought it was the perspective of the shot. It's pretty sad when someone that beautiful STILL isn't beautiful enough...
Sorta like the Redbook cover of Faith Hill, talk about digital manipulation!

The art director sure learned not to color outside the lines in grade school, and made it all fit.

However, as the other shots prove, she does have two normal legs, albeit a skinny pair!

breda - agreed on the pose - it's odd.

barbara - she MUST, with those uneven legs.

christina - It's probably a combination of perspective AND photoshop. Look how ridiculously long her torso looks compared to the legs. Yeah, I saw that Faith Hill thing - unnecessary.

mushy - Yeah, she's a little bit Picasso there, but it fits in. Yup, in the other shots, her legs look really long.

The girl ain't got enough meat on them bones. And speakin' of art directors, anybody else remember Playboy and the airbrush?

myron - if she were a piece of fried chicken, she'd be the last one left in the bucket.

Her right leg is definitely out of whack...as a man...I must say that I am sick of the photoshopping of women...why can't we just see how she really looks...*sigh*

It is kind of sad really...

Models have weird bodies, it's what makes a person notice them - that there's something wrong. A German friend of mine married a model (also German) who was tall and had really long beautiful legs - the sad part was her trunk made up the difference as it was rather short. She had a striking "look" allright...like two breasts mounted on a pair of chopsticks.
Models are weird.

Ya just can't ever know any more if you're lookin' at the real thing, unless they screw it up like this.

Wonky never looked so sexy! I think this "mangling" may bring out my photoshop fetish. Slurp! I wish her bellybutton were multiplied 10x over.
