Miss Praline is going for her *ahem* alteration today. I can't believe my girl is old enough for this, but that's how time passes, I suppose. She was such a wee little thing such a short while ago.

Mumsy's nervous.

Nailbiting here.

I'm worried about her feeling sad and abandoned. :(

WOOPSIE! ENTERED THIS ON ME CALENDAR WRONG - is tomorrow. Poor little Chuy emitted the most pitiful, plaintive mewling when I took Praline and left. Will take him with tomorrow - poor little lamb.

She'll be just fine, Phlegmmy. I know it, and everything will be forgotten very quickly, because she's a dog (shhhh, don't tell her, I know she believes she's a princess...)

This is a tough moment. Hope all goes well.

Not to worry! She'll be up and around before you know it! She'll just require a few extra 'lovins'!

It broke my heart to take little V2 for the same indignity last spring (Vinomaker made me do it). When I picked her up at the end of the day, besides having on an 'E' collar and a shaved tummy, she was as right as rain, like nothing had happened to her bits...didn't even lick the stitches. Little dogs are troopers!

I understand your concern, Phlegmmy... I felt the same with my pups. But I'm with all the others here: she'll be fine. You will be, too! ;-)

I'm sure she'll be fine, but I've gone through the same thing with all my dogs. The most pissed I've ever seen Reese was when I took Kona in for his and left him at home alone. We were staying at my mom's house and he was able to get up on my bed and had the nerve to pee in it!

I took Nico yesterday. I too was worried and nervous all day. When I picked him up his whole body wagged and he was full of energy! The bounce back so quickly.

I wish Chuy and Praline a quick recovery!
