The T-Rex is an insane round and its volume must quadruple indoors. One guy was wearing ear-muffs on top of ear-muffs! I'd really rather play with a Sherman tank. :-)
"If anyone of those shooters had had their weight over their forward knee, they would have been able to hold on to that beast."
Don't discount muzzle rise versus a slick or badly designed forend. I've had "thumper", my H&R 12ga lightweight, rip itself out of a death-grip on the forend more than once with heavy loads.
I've shot a few guns like this. It takes a real man and a lot of practice.
My favorite was an old double rifle made in the UK that was chambered for .600 Nitro Express.
It belonged to a buddy of mine and it packed a wallop. The thing about these African Dangerous Game rifles is that you have to take the time to practice and get used to shooting them.
They are not for the feint of heart. The ammo is also $100 per round so learning to reload them is a plus.
It helps that I am 6'-4" and just under 300 lbs. I couldn't see a small person shooting one. My buddy that owned the rifle I shot said he let some little smart ass shoot one round out of it and it dislocated his shoulder and tore several tendons and ligaments. The guy had to have major surgery and it took a year or physical therapy to regain full use of his arm.
Needless to say the little wise guy got over his Napolean complex right away.
I love big guns like this but you have to be in good shape, of decent size and know how to handle a firearm with this amount of recoil.
I can put about 10 to 12 round through one with no ill effects other than a big headache when I'm done.
I wish I could afford one but $60,000.00 for a gun is a little out of my range.

WANT. WANT. WANT.
In a five-shot snubbie...

Wow!!! What the heck is that?? (And why are there so many "gentlemen" from the Sand Countries trying to shoot it?)
Note that control of that rifle was inversely proportional to the amount of lean-back by the shooter.
Take it from a recoil junkie like me ... lean into it, dammit!

hee hee. saw that the other day.

Some muzzle rise is un-avoidable ... but leaning back is just askin' to launch that rifle into near earth orbit.
That's what happens when you get scared of recoil and try to get away from the rifle before you shoot it.
They nees to lean into it, and that rifle needs a sling ... a fore-arm and hand passed through a sling loop would also help leash that beast.
Dayumm! I WANT one of those!! Dunno what I'd do with it, squirrels and such maybe, but I WANT one!!!

Funny video. Thanks for the laugh.
