What a laff!
Headline reads "Clinton calm in hostage crisis" and I thought, Wow - I didn't know SHE was the hostage! Then I read the article and it turns out it never was her neck on the line. Characteristically, she was completely unruffled by others going down in her stead.

Hmph.
Others have been going down in her stead for a lot longer than one little hostage crisis.
What a stupid headline. She had nothing to do with anything.
lawdog - So that's how she's perfected that stiff upper lip. I suppose the whole affair didn't come as much of a surprise.
zelda - Stupid on 'roids. Tempest in a teapot. An example of a media outlet clambering to paint her in a positive light, when, as you so succintly put it, "she had nothing to do with anything." A damned tedious waste of pixels, and I reserve the right to decry it as such.
This is a surprise?
Not to any person of even marginal intelligence!
Drama.
Wasn't she the one who held them hostage in the first place?
christina - well, I wasn't, really.
fhb - yup, and there's more where that came from
mechuahua - and she wants to do the same to all of us for 8 more years. Goody.
"Vote for Hillary Clinton and you get all the Clinton corruption and double talk without any of the greasy charm that at least made him entertaining. She’s so bad at that part of the job that Bill Clinton keeps having to do it for her."
Wish I could remember where I stole that so's to give 'em credit. Oh, well.
myron - That's a keen observation. At least, begrudgingly, on some level I can admit that BC is a charismatic person, and people who've met him feel like he's a genuine person. NOT that that makes him sincere, or anything, but...
I guess she just doesn't "Feel your pain" like charmin' Billy did. Gack
