I had the strangest dream. I was helping Clive Owen tidy up a big marshmallow souffle baked-Alaskan thingie he made. What does it all mean? Somehow, he never struck me as the chefly sort - what was he doing cooking in my dream?
Good googly moogly - HBO's Rome starts up again Sunday night. I'm just
slightly excited! Here's to the 13th Legion.

Gee, get a shrink, Phlegmmy, do you like him? Do you like him popping up in your dream? Was he making a move on you? Were you on him? Was Doglet making a move on the Bakes Alaska?
And by "Get a shrink", I meant it's way over MY head, because there's nothing wrong with you as far as I can see.
meg - har har har - yeah, I like him. LOVED him in Croupier - thought he should be the next Bond and so did the franchise, but Owen turned it down. To answer your questions: Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. No, because she wasn't there.
I'm relieved, because if you declare me normal, then it must be so.
I adore Clive Owen. He's on my list.
Anyway, I think the dream means that he's hot, and you're hungry.
Simplistic, I know.
I hope your Clive and Baked Alaska dream was as good as my Uma and whipping cream and strawberries dreams. Yeah, that's right. DreamS. The only trouble with my Uma dreams is I can't find the rewind button. So I just go to bed every night with my fingers crossed.
I'd eat anything he wanted to cook, even oysters, and I loathe oysters.
I have to admit to a guilty pleasure...I read a series of books by Nora Roberts, written under the name J.D. Robb. It's the "... In Death" series. One of the characters is an Irish reformed semi-criminal super-sexy uber rich, very smart guy married to a Cop, guy. Clive would be perfect for the role should they ever start making movies of these books.
Ah, a girl can only dream.
Very nive.
Muito bom

He's everywhere, last night I dreamed he was rustling up an icecream omlette.
Sounds like you want to get all sticky and gooey with old Clive, "help" him outa his shorts or somethin. Or maybe yer secretly longing for a big, dark, metrosexual type to come into your life and stir some things up in the kitchen? Perfectly understandable.
And on the Rome thingy, sis and I have figured out the deal. She will watch them as they come on each week, and then when they have one of those two or three episode Friday nights I'll come over and check em out. That way she'll know when to leave the room. Silliness.
From my research I find that dreaming about a celebrity could indicate a desire to have some of their physical or personality traits, or a general admiration of the person. Cooking in a dream signifies your desire to influence others in such a way that they will like you or become dependent on you. Alternatively, it represents your nurturing side or wanting to be nurtured or loved. Further a dessert in a dream represents indulgence, celebration, reward, or temptation. Perhaps you are tempted to 'take care' of Clive Owen? But you didn't need an analysis to tell you that, did you now? BWA HA HA HA!!!
But then again, sometimes a banana is just a banana, right?
zelda - that explanation works for me.
myron - whoever invents the dream DVR is going to make a fortune. Did you see Uma in Henry & June? What a bombshell!
hollyb - That you would let him feed you oysters is really saying something. Bop bop shoobee doo wop. At least you have a good countenance to plug your brain into when you're envisioning a character in a book. I do that too. With the guys, anyway. The heroines of the novels look remarkably like me!
Paulo - welcome!
tickersoid - you, too??? :)
fathairybastard - I don't mind helping.
Speaking of Rome - the first episode was chock-full of action and excitement, so there'll probably be no awkwardness for you and your sister in that episode. As Rome mourns Caesar and Lucius Vorenus mourns his beloved wife, there come occasions for the kicking of ass. Yee Haw!
darkmind - I suppose you're right, but it's really odd to me that someone as random as Clive Owen would pop up. Usually, I can think of something during the previous day that triggered the placement of a person or thing in my dreams. Anyway, your analysis is interesting. And yes, clearly, Clive Owen needs a lot of taking care of.
fathairybastard - Indeed.
