Frankly, I don't care how crazy a bitch was-- screw prison. They shoulda just let the victims' families have a five minute free-for-all on their sorry asses.
None of Manson's "family" should be allowed out of prison before the patriarch assumes room temperature. They'll all do his bidding if allowed to run free.
Chucky himself comes up for parole again in a couple of years IIRC. Gotta love California. Here in Florida, we had "going away" parties for Ted Bundy when was strapped into "Old Sparky" in 1986.

Thanks to Bittorrent, I saw the BBC's broadcast of the show back on Christmas Day, and, if you're a fan, the DVD is worth the $10 Amazon is charging just for the climactic scene alone.
