What's under your desk at work?

Someone was throwing away this huge flokati (lambskin blankie thingie) because her Italian greyhounds didn't like it. My puppehs lurves it!

SO, anyhoo. The boy's cuteness quotient plummets precipitously when he thinks of creative ways to wake mummy in the mornings. There's the favorite standby, the wet willie, which, actually, is worlds more pleasant than a knifelike blade of puptongue striking shiv-like at the innermost reaches of one's nostril, but it only happens once and then one is airborne. Rude awakening doesn't begin to cover it.

That's a nice puppy woobie. Obviously, that proves that greyhounds don't understand or appreciate quality lounging material.

Your boydog needs to realize he's not aerodynamic enough to continue waking you as such on a common basis. Priss usually whines, whimpers, and rakes her pawclaws across my face to get me to wake up if I ignore the whining too long. I'm not sure one is better than the other.

Regards,
Rabbit.

"What's under your desk at work?"

That's what they asked Bill Clinton...

The Kobe Beef Tip is so incredibly slothful WE have to wake HIM. Ben's favorite trick is to bump the side of the bed until he awakens one of us.
Thanksfully, he usually does it on the Dearly Beloved's side of the bed.
Miss Boo? Since she is the PERFECT dog, she waits patiently for US to awaken.

I can't have any kind of bed for my Italian Greyhounds...they shred them all!

I was always up before my dogs... five days a week, anyway... but on the days they awoke before me (weekends) it was always the paw-in-the-face trick, and always from the same dog (my lab-border collie cross). The three of them must have gotten together and designated a "waker-upper." I never figured out why **I** was the lucky awake-ee and not The Second Mrs. Pennington, but that's the way it was.

Yeah, TSMP and I shared our bed with the aforementioned lab-border collie, a mutt terrier, and a German Shepard. EVERY night was a three dog night chez Pennington...
