I am growing weary of Facebook. It's neat in some ways, and nice to be in touch with some folks from the past, but I am tired of ball-hogging folks who feel FB is the appropriate place to throw up a new propaganda post every 3 minutes or so, no matter what their political views.
Seriously thinking of quitting it altogether, but for now, if you find I have I un-friended you, your dozens of tedious posts per hour were the reason why.

I gave up on it over two months ago. Haven't missed very much either.
Life is too short already. Don't have time for Facebook/Myspace/Twitter/et al. Not to mention that I really don't feel like sharing anything about myself with people I don't personally know. And yes, I know I don't "personally" know you, but I know enough to know you're good people.
Plus, Brigid and LD like you bunches, and that means a lot too.
My daughter is far away in Taiwan so I stay with it just to see what she is up too. I usually just delete friend requests cause if they are friends we can talk without it. My daughter posts a lot including pictures so it is useful for me.

Never did it, couldn't start, don't have anyone I really want to get re-ignited with, either. Don't touch me! ;-)
LOL, I 'only' used it for the kids, and I haven't been on it in a month or more...
That is true! Facebook nowadays is annoying rather than interesting.
I have enjoyed FB and reconnected with some (literally) old school mates. I've restricted my list pretty tightly, and find I almost never get the political stuff, only a couple of causes, which so far I handle by hiding. Seems it is going more commercial, too. I was reading that so many social media are changing and growing. I've enjoyed it. But I get tired as well. Twitter won't do. There will be something else.
I nuked my FB account well over a year ago, and haven't looked back.
I have far too many things I'd rather spend my time doing....like blogging!
I used to be on FB much more often, then I began blogging.
I still stop by, but don't say much.

You can also just tell it not to show you their posts...
Just hide the posters posts...look it up on FB.Love your blog...I put a blog link on my blog to your page :-)
Never got on FB because of trying to duck a stalker. Don't see much point to it, either, but then I'm one of those introverted types.

Yeah, I have the issues I care deeply about, but you can't just talk about those ALL DAMN DAY. Geez.
