This is one happy little boy!
Waking up Saturday morning in bed with Mumsy. Chuy has been very sweet and attentive, and sometimes he just sits and stares at me as though he can't quite believe it. Me too. Love all my furballs and am happy to be home, even if its not as comfy as my folks' house. Btw, my next house WILL have a fireplace.

Whenever I get back home from one of my trips, the dogs are wagging their tails so hard the whole dog shakes!
I'll yours did the same.
It's just their "WELCOME HOME!!!" dance...

And fireplaces are the best. With a big hearth and room to tuck a dutch oven and a kettle in the coals.

I can envision the frantic, squirming dance of happiness when you walked through the door.
I can, also, imagine the happiness you felt when you managed to come up for air and survey your kingdom with the knowledge things were in their place once again.
