Demon elastics: try the whine!
Orthodontist yesterday adjusted arch wire on top and gave me elastics which I have to change 3 or 4 times a day. At least I can take them out to eat and they come in an array of fluorescent colors. They hurt like a son of a gun. Elastics in photo appear more fun than they actually are.

Those just hurt to look at. Do they come in cammo?
How long do you have to use them? The colors are certainly fun.
OMG. I hated elastics, so very, very painful! I feel for you, m'Dear! How much longer will you need the braces?
Ouch... Does NOT look like fun at all. Hang in there Lady, better times are coming!
Progress is often measured in small and painful steps. Hang in there...there is always an end to the tunnel.
