Samuel Colt made the first production-model revolver, the .34-caliber.
Of course, my wishes are modest. I'm not hoping to get some priceless relic from the man Himself. I'd just like a Colt of a more recent vintage, as I've mentioned. A nice little Python would suit me fine. 8" barrel is sweet, but I'd settle for 6". :)

My dealer has a nickel 6" Python at a not-too-horrible price for one of that breed (although it's still not cheap). If you'd like to talk to him, let me know . . .

I have a very nice 4" S&W Model 19 that's just near perfect. Check my icon for my fav---a 2 1/2" S&W M13.

I have the lesser revolver a Combat Cobra and I love it!
I'm still on the lookout for one with your name on it, as well. I did see a nice (nickeled) S&W 17 and a 19 about 3 weeks ago, but they're just not Pythons.
