Through a windscreen, buggily:

One of the cool things about going for a drive of a weekend in Texas is every so often, you'll see something like this Jordan Almond Mint green Ford pickup.

I've always been partial to a Chevy, but this is one Ford I'd deign to drive. What a beauty!
Hopefully you can get an idea of the grandeur of this truck despite the bug-smeared windscreen. Apparently I drove through a plague of gutty bugs sometime recently. Ew.

I wish you had a grill shot. It's a first or second generation F-Series.

Wow. That's a terrific restoration. I have a friend whose family had one of similar vintage and color.

I had a 1950 Ford F1 for awhile. Red, with 1961 Thunderbird bucket seats, Halibrand mag wheels and a 396 Chevy stuffed into it. From outside, it looked like another old truck with cool wheels, but hit the loud pedal and hang on!

That is probably a 55 or 56, and it may not be restored, just repainted!

That's one of the things I love about Texas and the Southwest. You can see great old rust free cars and trucks.

Even the ones abandoned in fields are much, much cleaner than anything up in the Northeast.
