Lightning show

Yeah, I know it doesn't look like much, but I was so excited to catch a teeny piece of lightning in a photo this past weekend. The storms out here are fairly spectacular, and this day there were magnificent bursts of lightning branching out and veining the sky. I love it out here. :)

Good thing I like violent weather.

I love a good thunderstorm! The light show, the wall rattling thunder, instant 20 degree temperature drops.

It's all good.

Reminds me of SE Arizona (Ft Huachuca area). The lightning & thunder bouncing from mountain range to mountain range, sounds like you're in God's own kettle drum.
Loved it. I want to go back.

For a minute, I thought you liked violet weather! I like both, personally. ;-)

I've never been able to catch lightning...

You're MOST definitely in the right place for violent WX. I hope you only get to view it and not experience it, in an "up close and personal" sorta way.

Just wait until you see those big one-ton hayrolls blowing across the pasture like a furry soccer ball.

Wife has seen odd things regarding trailer houses and tornadoes when she lived out that way.

I'd be considering underground shelter, and I like that sort of weather, too!

Just as long as it's not "up close and personal"... been there, done that, picked the T-shirt out of the tree... sigh...
