hollyb - I thought they were lovely, too, and I felt warm and proud when I saw the image of the gentleman with the flag. I borrowed the Arlington image from their site, and I hope no one minds me helping myself on this occasion.
Saw a wonderful bit on the news about 106-year-old vet who fought in WWI when he was 15! (Lied and said he was 21.) He was Grand Marshall in a parade in Brooklyn today! He's the last of three WWI vets still living and the only one who went overseas. "The war to end all wars." God Bless'um.
