This video is hilarious, as much for the guffaws of the announcer as for the sheer delight of seeing someone drive a vehicle that sports a bit too much engine. That's a Chevy 350 in this VW Microbus. Fair dinkum!

Hoooooo Doggies! I bet their was some Pabst Blue Ribbon drunk during that little rally! Skeeter and Noonie had a good ol' time buildin' that little van!
leazwell - I didn't know this was a sport, before, but I have very fond memories of cutting donuts in parking lots with dad when I was a little kid. Of course, my dad is a superb driver and really mastered handling a vehicle at a very young age. Yeah, that guy laughing is a delight to listen to, actually.
barbara - I guess it's not for everyone - I've been to mud-track racing as a kid, but those ginormous races with many thousands of people watching cars drive in a circle for hours - well, that one baffles me.
barista - I thought it was cute, too!
fathairybastard - yeah, - it does look like a hoot, but I'll tell you one thing - a short wheel base like that with that overpowered engine would be a very efficient tool to kill yourself with - you can bet the guy powerbraking in the video is a serious professional-caliber driver. But yeah, it looks like serious fun.

It's like a clown car on acid!
tony - yeah - it had to be a blast - the scale of it was bound to get a giggle.
mushy - Brilliantly put! I love it.
I've never been able to understand the appeal of these excessively smelly and noisy motor sports. I must be missing a gene or something.
Man, that's hilarious. I'd love to know how to do that... with someone else's car.
