I first heard this piece over 60 years ago in New York's Central Park. The solo player had a withered arm and played at concert level with his left hand only. If memory serves me right the horn he played had not been built for left hand play yet he still managed to be able to play with the Philharmonic. Thanks for the chance to hear great music and remember good times past.
