No!
No!
Say it ain't so...
It was mere moments ago in a flouish of avenger eyes and his catlike ways he craned down from the stage and braced his hand on my shoulder, leaning out to sing to the crowd at the Gypsy Tea Room. Good times hanging out by the stage with Tracy and RocketGrrl in my hologram platform silver oxfords. I was one of the tame attendees.

Joe Cuba (of Joe Cuba and the Tokyo Negroes) was in my UC Santa Cruz animation class, and did a great walk-sequence with this song - one of my old favs.
At the time I wanted to be an animator but even less talented cartoonists were better than me at most everything...
Godspeed Lux...those were the days.
DirtCrashr - is that animation on YouTube somewhere? It oughta be.
No, I believe most of our old stuff went to a kind of Student-Teacher film graveyard. I never saw my final stuff after staying up till 3:AM shooting it frame by frame.
The walk and the fly was really all Joe, though.
And we're left with what?
Spongebob Squarepants?
Oh the humanity!
shame!...I saw the cramps on their first English visit during the early days of punk....an exotic interlude in my teenage life...god bless him.
I am so sorry to hear the news.
Good times indeed.
Sad. The Cramps played at the mental hospital in Napa in 1984!
