Any girl can be glamorous. All you have to do is stand still and look stupid.
Hedy Lamarr

I dunno- Hedy looks pretty smart to me, and def. glam.

Sorry, but someone had to say it.

Ah yes, but she is not standing!

She was pretty incredible.

Dunno. I've never been the least bit attracted to obviously dim women...

Oh boy. Whips and purty wimmens!

I'm surprised you didn't mention the late Ms. Lamarr held a patent for spread-spectrum communications, granted in 1942. Hedy wasn't merely "window dressing" in the traditional Hollywood sense.

"That's so degrading to women!"

"What are you talking about? She's got the whip!"

Probably one of the smartest persons to ever walk the earth, she was. Still using her basic code for modern cell usage, if I understand the situation correctly.

JRShirley - I wouldn't expect you to be drawn to a dim bulb

Myron - you gots good taste, baby!

Buck- I posted a movie clip of her about a week ago, and some people talked about her invention in the comments. Love her!

pdb - Yeah, it's a, uh, victimless, uh... something. What were we talking about? *hyuk*

Women back then seem to have their own type of glamour and sophistication. Celebrities of today can't hold a candle to them.
