All your dumbness are belong to us.

I realized today that it's been probably decades since I've heard anyone use the word ineducable, which is such a pity, because with our manifold billion dollar school system which any child may attend, I keep seeing examples of people who apparently are beyond reach, intellectually speaking. Translation: you cain't learn 'em nuthin'. I suppose it's not kind to call someone profoundly stupid in this age of "no rocket-surgeon left behind."

Um, ok.

So call me a bitch. I can live with that.

I've posted a mashup video of this song before, but it's so good I'm repeating it with an even better video. This City Never Sleeps is my favorite song by Eurythmics. slow, lovely and hypnotic. Bonus - this video is of night driving in London, one of my favorite places in the world.

Ahh, the Eurythmics. Nice choice. They are a superlative band after all. Hafta disagree with you re London though... I've always found it smelly and packed to the gills with extremely rude people..

Apparently in this country there is now a white boy culture of 'skoowl is unkool'. The ethnic group now least likely to succeed.

I could only tell that was London by the taxi's although the sheer number of traffic cones is consistent with the UK.

kevin - Well, London is perhaps a little too close-to-home for you, but I can love it from a distance. It's an exciting place.

tickersoid - It's embarrassing when people dumb themselves down.

fhb - I thought so.

Oh dear God. I feel terrible for the mother losing her son, but geezus, hindsight is always 20/20.

One of my favorite abbreviations is tstl, which stands for "Too stupid to live".
Which probably describes about 75% of the population of the US.
If I'm being generous.
And don't worry, I'll be a bitch right along side you...bitches RULE!!!

I agree about the ineducable. But I also blame our own parent's greed, the "gimmie right now" attitudes prevalent in our society and the lack of educable teachers. I can think of nothing worse than "tenure" for school teachers.

attila - yeah, it's just sad all-around.

christina - yup, you were generous, I think. WOOHOO - BITCHES! YAY, BITCHES!

catmoves - Amen to that, and particularly university professors? Tenure needs to have its limits. Sheesh.
