I hardly know where to begin. Marianne Faithfull sounds like she's channeling Greta Garbo. I dunno - tuneless droning in a spangled wimple? Bee-zarre!
And Bowie shaking his chest feathers is very, well, Bowie. Or was. Um. Did he invent manorexia? *sheesh*
Is it just my imagination or do they look a littled hopped-up?

More than a little disturbing. Maybe Lady GaGa actually channels David Bowie...
I have always thought that Tim Curry was drawing heavily on Bowie from this era for his performance in Rocky Horror.
As for hopped up...her definitely but Bowie it's always been a coin toss.

Anonymous- for all his strangery, David Bowie had a more gentle arc, I think. Definitely more refined and elegant, for all that space-foo.
