Good! Having worked in automotive repair and automotive parts, I can assure you that extreme temperatures are hard on the car's battery and by extension, pretty much everything else in the electrical system.
Hope that it didn't let the smoke out of the wires !

Yep, just changed out the battery in hubby's car last week. The brutal cold is mighty hard on them.
