Buddy of mine makes knife handles and other such things out of mammoth ivory. It is REALLY pretty stuff.
You can also get pistol grips made of the stuff.good material for a BBQ party pistol.
I have a Hawaiian fish-hook made of thousand-year old fossilized mammoth bone!
Meh - I would want it to be woolly...
Just do a search Christopher, or talk to somebody who knows how to make grips. Tho something like an N-frame revolver grip might not be possible with how the tusks grow. Certainly 1911 stocks made from mammoth are out there.
