I'm a sucker for novelty bottles.

I don't even drink tequila, but tequila always has the best bottles. I found this one at the Centennial over at the Quadrangle in uptown today for $23.99. Sort of a celebrational election day purchase. Like the last funky bottle of tequila I purchased, this one will prolly sit unopened and unloved on a shelf collecting dust for many years.

Anyway, as much of a gun n00B as I am, I got a giggle out of "the way the West was won" on the box, with the decanter in the design of a 20th century pistol. That ain't right.

Which West would that be, then?

  4. Mexicans love the 1911 because it's muy macho and a military pistol - and they're forbidden to have .45 ACP since it's a military round. But they can get one in .38 Super from the El Presidente, to the El Senador, El Comandante, El Capitan, El Soldado, El Campeon, to El Tigre, El Toro and El Centauro (!) among others.
Now you've got El Borracho right there!!
