ReplyDeleteThat is two hours of my life I'm not going to get back. But it was worth it. There are two towns I'm going to find. Juliff and Gulf Prarie, TX. Maybe I'll take my mom. She loves this shit too.

No we don't, not enough real estate. I've only ever seen them in the movies. Didn't know they still existed and so many.
ReplyDeleteAll that has to happen is the Rail Road or highway bypasses some little town. Next thing you know people move away and the place dies. Happens a lot.

ReplyDeleteIt was down the road from my dad's ranch, so I'm very familar with it.
So many train stops that ceased to be needed. So many watering holes gone bad. Hey, ever been to Cookietown? Population 8, last I was there anyway.
