Her baby granddaddy

Speaking of Jon Voight... a photo I saw on the magazine rack at the grocery store this week of the Pitt/Jolie brigade. Imagine a baby girl - Angelina Jolie for a mother, Brad Pitt for a father - yet the child is Jon Voight made over. Almost eerie. He was kinda baby-faced. I could see her in a little Midnight Cowboy outfit.

The funny thing to me is that while I think Jon & Angelina are both brilliant actors, I've never been able to see him in her - she doesn't resemble him at all, to me. But her baby? Definitely related.

  2. Yes, darkmind - it would appear that while you've been perking along plotting World Domination™, you've missed out on some vital celebrity gossip. Angelina Jolie DNA has some Jon Voight in it.

Actually the pic you posted clearly shows Angie has her Daddy's jaw, and, except for the missing dimple, his square chin. Give her a few more years in the sun w/o the proper SPF and no botoz [yeah like THAT's gonna happen] and she'll have that same crease between the eyebrows, too! A hint of it's already there. Or maybe my 'puter screen's dirty.

It is a little hard to see the resemblance, but I think it's the mouth. Plus, they use some of the same facial expressions.

And they're both equally doable. Yes, I as a straight woman am not ashamed to admit it.

  5. Oh those sneaky genes! Don't you love how they show up only when they really feel like it?

I'm still not completely sold on this Branglina thing. I'm waiting 5 years to see where everyone lands.

  7. Really? I see him in her lips, chin and cheeks. I think she's just thinner, so she doesn't fill out her face quite as much as Jon (and her lips look even larger).

She looks a lot like her mom. Looks like a Benneton add, don't it?

Sorry, not of general interest, but I couldn't get over how JV looks like our Prime Minister Helen Clark in one of her caught-in-a-grumpy-moment moment. For e.g. http://images.scotsman.com/2005/04/14/1404clarkb.jpg - I think it's the upper lip.

  11. All they need now is a child from Mars and the diversity thing will be in full swing.

  14. hollyb - Oh, I can see what you mean, now that you mention it...

sudie - well, you're not blind, after all!

barbara - yup - I suppose genetics can really slap an ass occasionally

k - He probably already bores her. The whole thing is doomed unless he stays utterly with her program and strays nary an inch.

becky - Yeah, that makes sense. Still, he seems to have a rounder face, and I guess that's one reason the baby seems so similar to him

fathairybastard - That's funny - exactly like a Bennetton ad

meg - I can see it, but I'd say she's a little closer to Rutger Hauer - eek - she needs a serious makeover - that hair looks like a very bad hairpiece

myron - it appears to be a wrapped scarf of some sort - maybe he's training as a sushi chef

phoenix - yup yup. Maybe they can adopt a yep-yep alien from the muppet show, and they need an Australian and a European to complete the set

    fathairybastard - That was funny

rangertom - big tough boy like you? You'll get over it! Nice to see you, btw.

Of course I'm not blind (with my glasses on, anyway!)

But they are both GORGEOUS people. My mom thinks Angelina's lips are enhanced, but I've found pictures from her childhood and they either allowed a sixth-grader to have collagen or those are HER lips.
