That's included in the price.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3786818.post-92209926142635733522010-07-24T23:25:02.842-05:002010-07-24T23:25:02.842-05:00I have the original cyclone vacuum, the Amway CMS1...I have the original cyclone vacuum, the Amway CMS1000.

The Dysons are nice (and overpriced, IMO), but consider this...

I inherited mine from my dad, as he has a central vacuum system now. It is 20 years old. It is still running beautifully. I just serviced it, replacing a couple of cracked plastic pieces and replacing all the filters. Every part for it is still available.

From what I can tell, someone bought the design and rights from Amway, and it's now called ClearTrak. New units are available for $371, including all the accessories/attachments. It's a hell of a better deal than the Dyson, IMO.

http://store.cleartrak.com/cleartrak.htmlJohn the Texanerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05387509912509138934noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3786818.post-42180103464641803092010-07-23T00:11:02.890-05:002010-07-23T00:11:02.890-05:00Dyson. Since we've gone to the concrete floor in the den, though, a nice Shop-Vac is more handy and costs less. It doesn't necessarily put out exhausted air that's cleaner than the room air, like the Simplicity, though. It does see more use these days, however.Rabbithttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09924556230506190220noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3786818.post-48346131467055046662010-07-18T18:48:08.370-05:002010-07-18T18:48:08.370-05:00I have had good luck with Bissels and belive it or...I have had good luck with Bissels and belive it or not, the new Roombas will amaze you.Keadshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09982258812373127063noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3786818.post-33419870591743810012010-07-18T18:45:13.253-05:002010-07-18T18:45:13.253-05:00I have had three Dysons, all of them have been exc...I have had three Dysons, all of them have been excellent... although the canister Dyson don't do too well on carpet!Buddyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11949483906975371871noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3786818.post-81100831149145961832010-07-18T18:24:36.705-05:002010-07-18T18:24:36.705-05:00I have a Kirby. One trip across the living room (perhaps 12x12?) and the bin on the machine was full. I dumped it in the trash while the cats looked at me and said, "Hey! Why are you throwing away the new kitten before we meet her??"

The amount of hair it picks up (and dust and grime along with it) is unbelievable.

Yes, they're expensive. But they're warrantied for five years, and if you shop carefully, you can often find them on sale in the $350-400 range, and sometimes with a little Dyson-style Dustbuster-esque hand-vac included.ZerCoolhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08347518441827166007noreply@blogger.com
