This very past...Wow - - Talk about a coincidence! This very past Thursday, I was reading a book - - I'll think of the name later -- by Robin Jett. It gives some road trips by which one may retrace many of the travels of the infamous depression-era outlaws, Clyde Barrow and Bonnie Parker. One of the places where they are reported to have stayed is that very motor court. There are even a couple of illustrations, not nearly so good as your images.

The book was just released, and Decatur is a short and convenient drive from the Metroplex. I figure there'll be quite a few day trippers stop by. You might want to negotiate your deal on the motor courts before the market gets really hot.

You do it and H and I'll patronize your restored inn as soon as you open for business.

JPGJPGhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01224444263429720535noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3786818.post-50907654494679487882008-12-20T16:29:00.000-06:002008-12-20T16:29:00.000-06:00I volunteer to repoint the building...that cement ...I volunteer to repoint the building...that cement ribbon pointing is doing real damage to such great stonework.Thudhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18320037763190473684noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3786818.post-42207136241360586842008-12-20T12:07:00.000-06:002008-12-20T12:07:00.000-06:00Greetings & Salutations, you Superior Scribble...Greetings & Salutations, you Superior Scribbler, you! You can find it here http://www.mapquest.com/maps?city=Decatur+&state=TX&address=S+Bus+81+And+E+Hale+Ave

Also check out the aerial view and you'll see the green rooves on the structures at that corner. :) Have a nice road trip. You're going to love it. I love traveling through those areas of NM and AZ.

Christina - I suppose it's some pure-dee heavy-duty stuff, whatever it is! It's stunning. You should see it up close. Yeah, It'd be like a magnet for fruitcakes if I got hold of it, though. :)phlegmfatalehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08636803080525003892noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3786818.post-2202424511200489782008-12-20T07:59:00.000-06:002008-12-20T07:59:00.000-06:00Wow! From a distance it looks like some kind of stone, then you get closer and see the detail. Amazing.
If you made a go of it, it would undoubtedly be fantastic.Christina RN LMThttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03260505524676910667noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3786818.post-52227274224163940482008-12-20T07:35:00.000-06:002008-12-20T07:35:00.000-06:00Is this on Rt. 66?
